Updates

Seventh Complex:

Alas, I did not win the contest...but oh well! I have yet another image I enjoy; though I'm still thinking I need to finish the one with Alice after she just killed that annoying rabbit! (Yes, I have a VERY twisted mind and I HATE the "Alice" books...love the game, though, hehehehe).

Anywhos, I'm enjoying the good spirits at Seventh Complex, they're a good group of people. Very helpful and very friendly; perfect for aspiring artists.

I'm going to continue entering the contests that appeal to me; even if I know prior I won't win. (Who cares, right? It's the fact I'm TRYING!!!! Besides, I've got a local competition I need to start an work of artwork for....)

Writing:

Then, of course, there is my writing. I have not been doing much for my Mernac stories simply because I've had a bit of writer's block; I haven't been in the mood for them. I have, instead, once more become engrosed in my "Raven's Tales" series; this one about Aly's daughter. Which also happens to be based on MY daughter....kinda. The basic thought is she ends up dabbling in the necromantic arts in search for power. Why? Well, you'll have to keep your fingers crossed and hope it becomes published. Cause I can tell you it's NOT about the usual search for power. There is more to it than that! (Isn't it always? hehehehe)

Personal Pain:

Ah yes, now we come to my literal pain in the rear; I injured my sciatic nerve somehow and have been taking meds for it. Along with Aleve (hopefully I spelled it right; it's also called naproxin sodium) for the pain. Oh, and I'm currently using a cushy donut for the pain too. When I do something, I do it right! lol.


So, there you have it; all my current updates. Wish me luck on finishing the novel within a year; cause that is where my Muse is going and that is where I shall remain! Well, there and the artwork. :-D If I end up working on anything for Mernac it will be the novella for Ryna: her prequel, if you will. That will be posted when I finish it. (Whenever THAT may be...)
