What Brought Me to Mernac

What brought me to Mernac? Well, originally it was the contest Rick has placed at Rendosity. It was in the newsletter I get and, since I'd been playing around in Poser and Photoshop, I figured "what the heck?!". I came, saw that it was similar to the RolePlaying sites at MSN and decided to give it a try.

I signed up as a beta-tester and began stumbling my way through writing a sapling, then character story, then legend. I strived to gain "scribe" status and loved every moment. While I was writing, I gained experience in Poser and Vue and began posting artwork here and there, getting critiques along the way.

The people (admin/gods, other writers and artists) have been wonderful. I can't speak highly enough of everyone here! I've roleplayed at several sites on MSN and Mernac, well...Mernac out does those sites by far.

The thought of eventually getting money (and winning a contest or two) is great! I love it! But it is my love for writing and creating artwork that keeps me at Mernac and what keeps me returning.

I honestly couldn't ask for a better place to play, write, and create.
