Celebrating the Holidays

Ryna:

Ah, well, I plan on visiting my favorite Father, Quont, on Christmas eve and spending some time with him. Of course, my beloved, Baudin, will be along, as well, so hopefully Father's succubi will remember that Baudin is MY man and will only try to tempt him.... ;-) Not that I think my love will leave me, but still. Ladies: play fair! Don't make me hollar for Daddy! lol! As for where we plan on spending the holiday, well, I do have that nice place on my island on Garren, so we'll probably spend time there or visit his Family and spend time with them. It's really up to Baudin for I'll be happy as long as I get to spend the nights in his arms. ~wink~

Scribe:
The holidays? Welllll, Mark and my anniversary is this weekend, so we'll planning on celebrating this week. Tomorrow to be exact. (We were hoping to go to a concert, but we couldn't get the tickets :-( oh well...) Anywhos, I'm hoping he can come down on Christmas Eve or Christmas, but who knows what the weather will be, lol. As for me and my little ones: we'll be spending the day with my parents and then grab my grandfather and bring him to my parents house for the day. So it'll be a nice holiday, I hope....provided the little ones don't end up being hellions! lol. (Of course, if they aren't then I'm gonna WORRY!!!! LOL!) Yesss, I love my little ones dearly, and despite it all, I still want more. Go figure. (Maybe I'm a glutten for punishment? ;-) lol)

So, all in all, a rather quiet, perhaps a bit boring, holiday. But it'll be nice and I'll have fun playing with the kids. :-) And their toys! hehehehehe

What's in a Name?

Ryna:

Father has asked a curious question this week. What does your name mean. Well, mine means "pure" which is kinda amusing since I was originally an assassin before my Shadow Guard days. And even now I tend to lean towards that method of justice than anything else. More fun and more of a challenge...not to mention it's something I know how to do!

Scribe:
Ummmm...it's welsh for "Pure and yielding, whitewave" though that wasn't why I was named that. It's a long, curious story (which explains a LOT about my...errr...6th sense, shall we say) but I'll sum it up by saying "the little birds named me". (Think jenny wrens aka sparrows...) ~smile~

Daddy's Question

Ryna: Father's Question was "what is you're favorite song"? Well, I must admit that I have a long list of songs I love. My ultimate favorite would have to be an oldie "Devil with the Blue Dress On", I suppose. Of course, I also love almost every song that Dirt's King of Rock and Roll (Elvis) sang. My scribe also says he is her ultimate favorite, as well. Her fav by him was "didja ever"....the same movie it was in, G.I. Blues was also one of her favorite all-time movies.

As for current favorite, it would have to be the Christmas song "Santa Baby" by Eartha Kitt...who was also one of the many "Catwoman"'s on the old "Batman" tv-show on Dirt. I also love the band Finger Eleven's "Paralyzer" as well.

Scribe: Favorite song? hehehehe, now and forever "Dirty Deeds", for reasons all of my own....Of course, I also love Katharine McPhee's "Love Story" and also Finger Eleven's "Paralyzer". But no song can put a smile on my face like "Dirty Deeds" does....which I also tend to listen to every chance I get when my mp3 player isn't dead. ;-)

Weekly Question Catch-up

Well, seems I've missed out on several questions, so here we go!

What Drives You Crazy?

Ryna: What drives me crazy? Ummmm....the complete idiots out there who think I'm going to give them a "good time" or having someone trying to rip my head from my body...

Scribe: What drives me crazy? People who believe that they must hoard their information and not share for the childish belief it gives them power. That and complete idiots and jerks...on occassion it can also be summed up to one word: men. But only on occassion! lol (And yes, my lover DOES drive me crazy in sooo many delightful ways...~wink~)

Are You Ticklish?

Ryna: Am I ticklish? Yes, and if you try, if you aren't a friend, you will find a fist in your face. Be warned.

Scribe: Horribly ticklish.....though don't try; I don't take kindly to just anyone touching me....

Tell Three Little Known Things About Yourself

Ryna: ummmm...let's see.... I have a small home on one of the islands off Garren (That's still gotta be polished by my scribe...). I've a great desire to be a mother with children of my own, which should prove interesting since I'm a ShadowGuard. And, believe it or not, I'm a fairly good singer. There is one other little secret, but that needs to be written by my scribe and unfortunatly, her mind seems to be wandering there days....I do hope she finds it soon. ~wink~

Scribe: Well, let's see here. Three little known facts. I'm an excellent baker; my talent lies in desserts. Cookies and cakes are my passion. I can draw with pen and paper fairly well when the mood strikes me. I have an uncanny affinity with all creatures; especially dogs. Oh, and appearantly it's not well known that I have an ex-husband in the Northern Part of the U.S. (Last I heard he was in Wisconsin....). There are other things that only a few people know about me (Quont and my sister) but I'm holding them to the promise that they won't tell. :-) Why didn't I mention it here? Simple: most people wouldn't believe me and it's not something I want everyone to know about, lol.

Father's Question of the Week

Well, this week's question is: "What’s Your Happy Place?"

Scribe:
Ohhh, that's an easy one....and an obvious one! My happy place, the place I feel happy, safe, secure, and without a care is in the arms of the man I love....in Mark's arms. May it be simply walking with him in a store, park, or in the yard watching our kids (Yes, he considers Hunter as HIS son, for which I've been enternally grateful for) play and romp or sitting beside him watching the TV or working on the computer (which is often more frequent than not, lol!) I am the happiest when I am in his arms. Never before have I felt that way towards anyone; not with my ex-husband who I hope burns in Hell (typical ex-spouse feelings, I suppose), or with a former flame who I once thought I loved. I've always felt safe in his arms and have always felt warmth and desire when I'm with him. And not just of the sexual type of desire. He makes me feel wanted, needed, and loved. HE is my happy place. (And yessssss, Father, I am also very happy with the physical part of things as well. ~wink~)

Ryna:
My happy place? Ummmm...well, I'd say in the arms of my Father when he's not in his evil-kill/torture-everything-around-him-mood or Baudin's arms. And, when not with either of them (and just FWI, I prefer Baudin for multiple, sensual reasons...) I'm happiest when in my home on my island just off from the mainland of Garren. There, I can watch the birds fly, hear the ocean's soft lull, and enjoy the warm sunshine pouring down on my scantly clad body. What more could a girl want??? ~wink~

Who do I miss?

Ryna:

Who do I miss the most is the question Father asked today. That answer is simple: I miss my birth mother the most. She was so beautiful and full of life! I miss her laughs, her smiles, her lovely voice.

I miss everything a daughter could have had with her mother: the talks, the lessons, her smiles and suggestions, and even the arguments! There were secrets she had that, I think, had she lived I would have learned by now. I miss the love she shared with her husband, my birth father. A daughter should have a mother who loves her and wants only the best for her daughter. My mother was like that.

I see children with their mothers and I long to see my own once more; to feel her comforting arm around my shoulders and the advice she could give me.

It just isn't fair that someone would have ordered the entire city's death! The person took away my mother and father; and I miss my mother so very, very much!

My Answer:
Who do I miss the most? My uncle and grandmother who both died when I was three. My uncle was more like a father than my own and my grandmother loved me so much. She was different and I was her "angel". lol, I couldn't do anything wrong in her eyes! They meant so much to me and I still have wonderful memories of them both. Hard to believe, yes, but....I tend to be like a dragon at times: I hoard memories and precious momentos....and grudges! lol

Other than that, I miss a former boyfriend; he was fun and charming. Not half as great as my beloved, but I still like him and would love to know how he's doing now. There aren't that many people I knew, dated, worked with etc. that I miss. Ok, I DO miss working with two former co-workers and the people I knew at JMU....but that's beside the point! lol! I still email them and talk to them on occassion, though. :-)

Shocking Moments

Father has asked yet another weekly question, this time on the most shocking thing you've ever done. Hmmmm...I'm not really certain what that would have been. I know what the most shocking news was, but that doesn't really count. I don't believe there is much that a known assassin could do that would shock anyone. Unless you include the fact that Darnesha and I actually kinda get along, despite the fact she is a succubus! lol

Ooc:
Oye, most shocking thing I've ever done. lol, shocking to WHO, I might ask? I think I completely shocked my mother when I went to Michigan and married my now ex-husband. (yeah, yeah, yeah, she was right. but she is oh, SOOO wrong about my current beloved, hehehehe.) Other than that, I haven't a clue. For me, personally, it was shocking to discover that Mark and I had a true connection from the moment we first met. We were, odd enough, completely drawn to each other....he was the only one who I actually wanted to kiss me. Was rather disappointed when he didn't, but then we WERE in a rather public area of the workplace we were at, lol.
