Well, Father's question is a rather good one this week. Where do you find the inspiration for your creativity?

My inspiration for art comes from artists found during my time roleplaying in the MSN chats prior to my ex- and then after my son was born. I was constantly searching for avatars for my characters and I discovered the art of Clyde Caldwell and Larry Elmore, my ultimate favorites, Julie Belle, Borris Vallejo, and Louis Royo. Royo is an amazing artist who delves into the sensual and erotic artworks. So much of their artwork has inspired me not only as an artist but also as a writer.
Where does the inspiration for my writing come from? Well, Aly's daughter came from MY daughter and hence the story of the necromancer (my little girl's scream COULD wake the dead, I assure you!). Other inspirations are fairy tales and legends, cartoons, books I've read, and, oddly enough, day to day problems, annoyances, and fun. Anger is a good way to write a delightful death scene, the love I have for my beloved is good fuel for love scenes, etc etc etc. Jokes and "what if" scenarios I share with my love and my mother are also good places for inspiration, as well as some really weird dreams I have, lol.
To sum it up, I guess you could say I get my inspiration from, well, life.
Ryna: Inspiration for me comes from everywhere. It once was fueled by the desire to please my parents, then to please my adopted parents, and finally by the need to survive. It is now inspired by what I want to accomplish. Of course, I have a rather impish mind and I am rather creative, so perhaps that is also where my inspiration comes from; my imagination! But then, I also garner inspiration from those around me and life itself.
